Decided on part for putting together a designing machine, one I can upgrade around later.

From UK,London

Something i've always wanted to do is build a PC from scratch.

Main use will be cs6, wed development , making music for now.

Could you take a look and let me know if Thier's anything i'm missing or if a part is not compatible etc

great build, should last a decade

with the other mobos, you just save 15 - 20 pounds, so you may as well go with your selection of asus

No, not required. most components have driver and utilities cds in the box itself. if you have internet, you will benefit as they will check and install the latest drivers.

your gpu, is that finalized? what options you got in that price range. this should help with your selection

point made. nice one. managed to get a faulty laptop up and running recently with os 7, 4gb ram. might end up using this for a few months picking up parts for the main pc over the course, clearly no need for it now.

Well it comes down to an extra 20 for a 2gb GPU in the end so went for it. Feels like an expensive build and not a budget one. Could probably get away using cheaper parts so might re consider, as will hardly be for used for games. Main concern was compatibility etc. Thanks for clearing out.

m x mas-, best wishes to the new year.
