some one help :
will i got this at a yard sale and put windows 7 on it but now that said some thing about i have looked there is no card in it lol jokes on me so then what would be best
Are you sure there's no video card in there? Did you open the case and take a look inside? So the AGP slot is actually empty?
In any case I looked at the specs for this computer and it came with either a dedicated ATI Radeon 7500 or will use Intel Integrated 845G. So even if you don't have the Radeon 7500, you could use the integrated Intel instead. As I said before, if you look in Device Manager and it says "Standard VGA adapter" for your video card, it means the driver is not installed. Dell will not provide drivers for Windows 7 for this system. But you can easily get the driver for Win7 either from the ATI (now AMD) website or from the Intel website (depending on which card you have).
But I'm surprised Windows 7 didn't detect the card and automatically installed the drivers during installation. Since these are old cards it should have the drivers in its database. But in any case, this is not a problem, you can download and install the driver manually.
