I wanna know what you would do..

About me: I have a gtx 760 SC 2GB , i love it, but wanna get another card for a 3 monitor setup soon too.

That being said.. I want to get another card but see that these r9 270x come in 4gb for about the same price as a gtx 760 2gb.

Would YOU, just buy another 2gb or sell the GTX 760 i have on ebay for $220 (what they are goin for used) and get 2 270x 4gb?

Thanks for answering!

You'd need more vram if you plan to game across three moitors, and SLI wont help you with that, what you'd want is to grab a card like the GTX 770 4gb version or its counterpart from AMD, I haven't seen any benchmarks on 270x xfire performance but their 4gb vram will certainly mean a lot more in a 3 monitor setup.

I would go with R9 270x CrossFire! The R9 270X 4GB OC beats the GTX 760 in almost any FPS game!
My friend and i compared our graphics, We got the exact same hardware exept our graphics cards, We did run BF4 on ultra.

GTX 760 (40-60FPS)
R9 270X (55-80FPS)

Clearly, The R9 is the card you should choose if ur playing games like BF4/3, +++ It's about 30-50bucks cheaper!

++ Strongly recommend a Intel i7 4770k overclocked to 4.5Ghz (Corsair Hydro H100i Liquid Cooling)
My temp is at 45-55 Celcius at FULL load, Gr8! Safe Zone for 4770k is 72 Celcius. Just Great!

I agree with Swerazer, but Battlefield's liege-lord is now AMD, so basically upped frames in AMD games is expected. I worry about powerdraw because I believe the the 270x is basically a 7870GE which is not a bad card by any means and the 4GB version will work miracles over the 2GB version. In the end Sapphire has a 4GB model with Battlefield 4 for $250 that's enough to put the rest of the cards to bed if you're an FPS fan. Correct me if I'm wrong

what is the power draw of 2 CFX'ed r9 270x's?
