Need help with upgrading my pc

I am going to be buying some computer parts on Boxing day. I was going to start with a graphics card but I am starting to realize that other upgrades might be more important. My budget is about 350$ Here is my current build. My goal is to have a decent gaming rig. The graphics card that I was looking at is a gtx 760. Amd Phenom 44 9600, Mcp61pm-gm 2.1 motherboard, 6 gig ddr 2 ram, Radeon HD 5770 1 gig vid card, 650 watt power supply,

I will not recommend getting a GTX 760 because of two issues: a. Your hardware is REALLY outdated, so I recommend an AMD FX 6300, 8Gb of DDR3-1866MHZ CAS 9 memory and b. AMD CPU's do not work well with Nvidia GPU's, they only perform optimally with ATI GPU's.

Don't say such nonsense. Amd cpus work perfectly fine with either. Tom's actually did a review on a rumor that nvidia works better on amd. And you know what the results were? Sli is better than cf on amd fx cpus. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/crossfire-sli-scaling-bottleneck,3471.html
