Building environment problem.

Hello everyone I would just like to say thank you in advanced for taking your time to help me out! So I live in an apartment where there's mainly carpet, the only place in my apartment with no carpet is my kitchen but it is also really small... Would it be ok if I built my pc on carpet if I had two anti static straps? Already asked if I can remove carpet and can't by the way

cant you put it on a desk? or on a flat board? Worst case scenario, open the PC and face the PSU fan so its facing away from the carpet (unless already like that, you would have to flip over the PSU)

Yes Beezy but would I have static build up from standing on my carpet as I'm building my pc? I thought you had to work on a hard floor.
