305 what PSU with a Radeon 7770

I got a Dell Dimension E521 With an AMD Athlon 2x 6000+ CPU and 4gb of ram and 500GB Nvidia Geforce gt 610 GPU in it and my friend is giving me this 7770 he doesn't use anymore cause he upgrade his computer and I was wondering if my computer could use it

I've read that 300w psu could run hd 7770. But it also depends on hoe much power your cpu uses. I think you should double check the psu requirement for hd 7770.

But don't loose hope yet, I've consulted it with oc experts I would let you know whenever they'll reply me.
Okay, looks like with a 305w psu the best gpu you could run is hd 7750, sorry for that. You should have atleast 430w psu for hd 7770.
There's not much difference between hd 7750 and 7770, hd 7750 is better value for money they say. So if budget could be a problem, then for now you can stick with hd 7750 or if it isn't then you can try otherwise.
