Hey everyone, I just finished building my first PC ever, and surprisingly everything worked great! I'm so happy and I just have one question. I've had no problems at all so far, but, should I update my motherboard drivers and BIOS even though I have had no problems at all, and if so, which ones do I need?

Can someone link me to a page for the latest downloads and specify which ones I need as well if I need to update at all?

Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0

I already installed the latest video drivers too for my hd 7870.

Thanks!

HERE
is the driver list for your motherboard which are supported on Windows 8.1 64bit
(Select 'Drivers and Tools' on the left and then choose your OS from the drop down list, url would not work from the specific page :)

From what I can see you do not need to update the drivers on your motherboard as the BIOS updates just improve System Stability or Update to support newer processors and since you have said that your computer is fine none of these updates are needed in order to keep your System up and running

(You could maybe update the audio and the LAN drivers if you wish :))

Hope I helped :) :bounce:
