I'm going to build my first rig on this Christmas and I'm confused which one should I go for? Could you tell me which one is better and why?

A MSI Z87-GD65 GAMING or a GIGABYTE G1.Sniper Z87? I know ASUS/ASRock are good brands but they are ungodly overpriced here at the moment.

Here are the links for them.

Much love for the community!

Not a huge fan of MSI myself, and have read a few threads about the "Gaming" range being problematic.

The Sniper would be my choice, if they are a similar price I would pick that up they are quality boards.

Huge thanks for the reply! What has been the problem? I'm not trying to offend you in any way, I love both brands, but people has been saying that Gigabyte's BIOS is somewhat buggy. It's also slightly smaller than MSI's. Would it affect the performance and cooling?

I couldn't agree more, but would the Gigabyte's AMP-UP audio would make a difference? Or, would I the on-board audio suffice? I'm an Audiophile. I listen to music everyday non-stop. For gaming, I'd just use my TV's speakers (Will be planning to purchase one next year). Also, the Gigabyte's motherboard is slightly smaller, so it's not a full size ATX. Would it also affect performance/cooling? I appreciate the reply, though.
