Hello everyone. I built a computer for my parents to replace their old one. Every time I start the W7 install process it keeps blackscreening and I can not do anything. I had Linux on it before I formatted and tried to install W7. Why can I do Linux but not windows?

The specs:
MSI 970A-G46
AMD FX 6350
EVGA GTX 560ti
8 GB G.Skill Ares DDR3-2133
60GB Kingston SSD
700 W OCZ700SXS

The gpu and psu are both from my computer and were working fine when I replaced them 2 months ago

What I have tried so far:
Made sure bios is set for AHCI
Swapped GPU for my new Gigabyte GTX 770
Swapped SSD for my 120 Sandisc Extreme preinstalled with W8.1

So even with swapping the GPU it still would lose video. So I figure the 560ti is fine. When I threw my SSD in it would boot up but as soon as I logged in it would black screen. I have tried using my SSD in safe mode but it would still blackscreen. Installing under safe mode would still blackscreen. I am lost at this point and am not really sure how to proceed. Anyone have any options? I am open to try anything at this point.

Which Linux were you running on the 970a-G46? I have Win7 running on a separate primary SATA 1 disk drive, and can't get any Linux distro to run for more than 30 minutes on the second SATA 2 drive.
