I want to upgrade my video card because I've got an NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 and a 300W power supply, I've got 86€ max. to spend so I think the best I can get is an AMD Radeon HD 7750 for about 66€ and a power supply of more than 300W for about 20€

well, gt620 is merely a very low end card and hardly to play any games today..

7750 is very efficient graphic card..
a good 300 watt psu from well known brand (antec, corsair, seasonic, etc) should be enough to feed power to your system..

but if you only have a generic powersupply, well, you have to replace it..

I don't know how old is the power supply, I bought the prebuilt computer about 3 months ago.

Just make sure you have 1 6pin PCI connector if you plan to buy 7770.
You can also use molex to 6 pin.

scrap the radeon 7750 and get a 7770. You will see around 5-10 + fps gain for an extra 10-15 euro.

You can get a good xfx 450w psu for 40 euro: http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-Edition-Bronze-Wired-Supply/dp/B005FPT38U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1387816657&sr=8-2&keywords=xfx+power+supply

An xfx radeon hd 7770 is only 100 euro: http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-DisplayPort-Dual-DVI-Graphics-FX777AZNJ4/dp/B009K274H6/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1387817030&sr=8-5&keywords=amd+7770

You an always downscale and get a a 400w psu to save money. Even 400w is plenty

How do I check this?

What do you think of buying an AMD Radeon HD 7770 and using my HP 300W power supply? (It's because I haven't got more money)
