FX 8350 and sabretooth 990fx

Im building a PC my bios version the board states 1.01 which means its out of date. If i am to build the pc with this processor will it be able to boot to the bios so i can update or will i need to use an old cpu ?

You will be able to boot just fine, and later update BIOS/UEFI without issues.

A lot of asus boards can also update the bios without a cpu if needed as long as you have a properly formatted usb stick and an internet connection

Yeah its cool I just stuck in an old CPU I had laying round and updated the bios
