Pretty much I need to know what's a good affordable motherboard and power supply-Hello, so I'm going to be building my first computer to play games like cod, farcry starcraft, wow and future games to come out, I'm looking at getting a intel i3 I want to have atlease 2 different WD hard drives and 2 optical drives but I'm not sure as to what motherboard or power supply to get I'm thinking about getting sniper 8gb ram (2X4gb) and a decent video card that I know is going to plug into the power supply so what power supply and motherboard would support the 2 optical drives the 2 hard drives and the graphics card that I want to get it would need to fit my CPU and ram as well thanks I'm a little
New to this so sorry for the rambling on

Solution
-For the price of Intel i3, you can get AMD FX6300. Much more cores (6 versus 2 cores on the Intel's i3) and better performance in games and other applications than the Intel's i3, although it consumes little bit more power.
-Almost all power supplies will be able to handle 2 HDD, 2 DVD/RW and all the other parts you need.
-Finally what is your budget?

-Yes, Intel is somewhat better than AMD, but in this case, the i3 is much more weaker than the FX 6300 and Intel's i3 processors can't be overclocked.
-As i said previously FX6300 has 6 cores, while the i3 has 2 core. That is a huge difference, and the performance will be much better on the FX6300.
-About the budget, which currency is that?
