Reliable CPU Temp software?

So I'm testing some overclocking on my 3570k. I manage to get it to a stable 4.5Ghz with 1.275v, so that's all good.

I have the Asus Sabertooth, so I'm using the AI Suite showing my core clocks etc in real time and when I run a stress test, you see it goes straight up to 4.5Ghz, and after a few mins it tells me it reaches 70C, then 78C, but using this other temp program (core-temp that's supposed to be good) that program tells me my cpu is hitting 90c with 1 of my cores hitting 104c, wtf?

I find it hard to believe, watching that program, my idle temps go from 40c to 80c in 2 seconds, I don't think even an actual flame will burn your finger that hot in 2 seconds.

I heard that RealTemp is more accurate than HWMonitor for CPU temps. But each time I used it I had exactly the same readings as in HWMonitor, but you can still give it a try:

http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/

I think you need to run it in admin mode to have all readings.

I second HWmonitor it gives real time and accurate readings of all your pc components.

If you do have temperatures that high, try getting a new cooler, either a powerful wind cooler or a liquid cooler (don't forget the thermal paste!)
