So I haven't got a clue what to get! Some people saying the stealth feels higher quality, some saying the non-stealth is better, I like the matte black finish on the stealth edition, but I like the tactility of the original, I'm shooting videos on my YouTube channel, mine craft videos, and I'm worried the ultimate non-stealth will make a racket, but if a lot of people are saying that the stealth is not really that tactile at all, but quiet, but the ultimate is too noisy, then I'm in a huge dilemma, someone please help me out here, love the tactility on the ultimate, but worried about the background noise in my youtube videos. Thanks a lot.

How often will you be using the keyboard for gaming and other activities compared with when you'll be using it for youtube videos? That's how I would decide. If the majority of your use will be when you're not making videos go with the Ultimate. After all, if you like the feel of the Ultimate versus the stealth why spend over $100 for a keyboard you don't like that much? If the sounds come across in your youtube videos too much buy a non-mechanical keyboard for use during your video shoots. And who knows, the added sound from the Ultimate may not even affect your videos.

Another option, too, is to get the rubber key rings that can be placed on your keys to quiet them should you go with the Ultimate and it ends up being too noisy.

Yeah I know but that's another problem, beacause I'd rather have on keyboard for everything, but ok let's say 60% YouTube videos and 40% other stuff, I don't want to have to put rubber rings and I did do some more research yesterday after I started the thread and discovered that the stealth edition has blue LESs instead of greens I love the tactility of both keyboards, but after all it is just a keyboard.

OK, don't think about the keyboard's looks at the moment. Think about what key switch you would rather have, brown or blue. As you said, you prefer the tactility of the blues and understand that it can disturb your viewing audience on youtube. I personally have a brown switch keyboard and overall find that it's not too different from the blues. Since I bottom out the keys anyways it's not really "silent" afterall, I could of really went with the blues and would've still been happy, therfore if you find yourself bottoming out keys you will still get audible feedback from the browns. Browns make a lower pitch "click" whereas blues make a higher pitch "click".

Now onto looks, looks can be very important since they might make you regret purchasing it. I went for a black keyboard with blue LEDs to match my Logitech G500s mouse. I know that you are asking about Razer keyboards, however there are many other companies that make awesome keyboards and this expands you horizons on the range of colours and features you get. I can vouch for Ducky since I have one fo their keyboards.

Concerning the quality of the Razer keyboards, I would say that it has slowly diminished over time, as you can see from the masses of people complaining about the life span of Razer products. Higher demand means more is produced and it is hard to make sure that every keyboard works 100% out of the factory.

Ultimately, it's down to you and how you feel. I suggest actually trying both keyboards and if you are willing to try other keyboards, try them too.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
