So I just finished building my new gaming rig. I wanted to test to see if everything worked before I did all the cleanup for the wiring. Everything turned on, the lights, the fans, the motherboard lights came on, but no display of any kind.

The motherboard reads AE, the power light and the bios light is on. All the fans on all the components, CPU, GPU, PSU, and on the case work, so everything is getting power.

Is it my CPU, my Motherboard? I don't know, please help!!!

Since those codes are motherboard specific, Those codes could mean anything. A COMPLETE list of components (makes, models, etc.)in your system would be helpful at this time. As far as ruling out 2/3 of the list, you didn't specify what 2/3 you eliminated.

and sorry, on my motherboard A0 means IDE initialization is started and AE means Boot to Legacy OS

as for what i have eliminated on the list
steps 1-9 , 14,15, 18-21, and 23

for the steps pertaining to the cpu, i do not feel comfortable removing the cpu until all other options are dealt with, and for static electricity, i am pretty sure i was clean throughout the build but i wasnt wearing an antistatic strap so it is possible.

Hope this helps.
