is i74500U + AMD Radeon HD 8850M for ok for playing demanding games like Battlefield 4, Call of duty Ghosts etc i am worried about the low clock speed (1.8 Ghz) of the CPU

Other specs:- 8Gb RAM, 1TB hard disk

Yeah it will be ok for medium/high graphics for those games at 1366x768 resolution. But most of the other games will run at high or near ultra.
The CPU has got a turbo mode in which it can go up to 2.6 or 2.8(forgot), so you need a cooling pad to allow the processor to go into turbo mode and keep the speeds up. If you won't have a cooling pad, the laptop will get hot when playing games, and the CPU will downclock.
