Specs:

Case: Bitfenix Prodigy
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-H87N mini-ITX
RAM: Crucial 8GB
Graphics: ZOTAC GTX 770 4GB
Storage: Samsung EVO 120GB + Seagate Barracude 1TB
Optical: LG Blu-ray burner

My questions are

1) Is this a decent value? I do moderate PC gaming (Starcraft II) and video editing, and I want a PC that will last several years before needing an upgrade. I won't be overclocking. I'd be willing to build a system myself, but I'm pretty busy and I'd rather buy prebuilt if it's not too much more $$.

2) Do you think this system could handle a 1440p display with high/max settings for modern games, or should I stick to 1080p?

3) Anyone have any experience buying a system from AVADirect?

Thanks for your feedback!

Other benefits of having AVADirect build your system, would be the advanced testing and burn-in, as well as warranty.

When you factor in the time it takes to build this system, and to source the parts from different vendors online (with additional shipping and handling charges at each one), and the advanced benefits such as having one central contact for warranty issues, our expertise with cable-management and our burn-in phase that we perform on all of our systems, the price is actually a lot closer than you think! :D

1. You can do it yourself and save $200. If two hours of your time is worth more than $200 than buy it.

2. It can handle 1440p high at most triple A titles out currently. In the future you'd have to turn settings down.

3. No sorry
