Hi there guys, I'm having a bit of trouble with a new rig. AMD-A8-6500 APU with an integrated Radeon HD 8570D, 8 GB RAM and I can barely get 20 FPS with games like Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed IV or The Witcher 2. Any ideas on what might be the cause of this? Thanks in advance :(

You will need a graphics card to play those games. Your integrated graphics just cannot handle it.

An apu is not going to get high frame rates with those games at 1080p. I had to lower my son's A10 below native resolution and play on the lowest settings to get good game play.

His situation will improve a lot at in a couple days when he opens his presents.....he no longer be using his iGPU to run games.

I'm seeing people with that Radeon playing new gen games on youtube; I thought it was a good one. I'm confused :(

The games you listed are especially Gpu intensive. Your Apu isn't powerful enough for those. Although it's good for a lot of games it's just not good enough for those games, a lot of people saw issues when using gtx 680's dropping frames down to 10-40fps just to give you an idea of how demanding they are.

Do you have some links to those youtube videos? They may be using real 85xx series cards rather than APU's.
