Did you replace the old CPU with this new one with the current OS install?

That motherboard almost definitely requires a bios update.

BIOS update would be a good idea and i don't know if the OS installs different sets of drivers etc. between the x1xx and x3xx series CPU's so that might need to be taken into consideration since they are technically different.

There is something else i noticed. I took a look at your boards specs and it doesn't support CPU's over 95 Watts and the 8320 is 125 Watts.

done what you said and also i undervoltaged the cpu by.5v and its greatly improved performance but there is just random spikes now, should i undervoltage it more and if so by how much?

I honestly don't know at this point.... since your CPU isn't actually supported on your board....

Undervolting is completely different. You need a new motherboard or a new CPU. You really have no other choice.

Seriously, don't bother undervolting. That can just mess things up. Set it back to normal. Better yet, don't even use it for now.
