AMD FX6300 wont enter motherboard???

Ok so My bro got an asrock 970 pro3 motherboard and the AMD FX6300 goes in from the right but the left side doenst drop, so the pins dont drop on the left. Hes stressing out and saying "U TOUCHED THE PINS" But I didnt and all pins are 100% straight. Any help?

do not force it down or you will most likely bend the pins. also to ensure you're setting it properly check the missing pins/corresponding filled holes on the motherboard. there's only one way to insert it.
