Motherboard spacing enough for Crossfire?

Could I 3 way Crossfire R9 290x's on a Asus Rampage Extreame Black Edition? I dont want to watercool because I tried looking into an it confused me beyond belief, My case is a Cosmos II and I have the most fans possible in it.

2) What exactly is your MB? I add the link for the Asus Rampage III Black Edition, they used 4 HD5870s. And both r9 290x and hd5870 are dual slot GPU. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/motherboards/2011/05/19/asus-rampage-iii-black-edition-review/2

So you need do some research on the GPU you want to buy to see they will fit or not.

You need the setup is very well ventilated for all three of them, not only for the one or two of them. Don't underestimate that otherwise the GPUs will overheat easily.
