I have recently tried to add a new RAM to my PC (which is really old) and I just found out that the RAMs need to be "compatible". The RAM i had in place before is 2GB DDR2 (I will add more specs about this one when i shut my PC down and open it in a minute) and the "new" one I'm trying to add is Kingston 1GB RAM, the only thing I can read and understand on it is on a piece of paper which says 1.8V which probably means volt right?
so the rest is written as follows:
99U5429-005.100LF
3889997-147219
ASSY IN CHINA (2)

also on the Left side is written BKMK16A0867
My other specs are

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 @ 2.80 2.79
GPU: Asus Geforce GT 610
OS: Win 7 32 bit

I need some time to "open" my rig or whatever and I will write info on my already installed RAM and motherboard in about 10 minutes.

Also I know that my PC is low-end and I don't need any advice on it.

And sorry for my English it's not my native language.
