ASUS H81M-A motherboard
Upgraded UEFI BIOS to 802
G.Skill DDR3-1600MHz (2x4GB) memory
Windows 7

I don't know how to get the BIOS to show 1600MHz. If I enable XMP it only shows 1333MHz (Profile#1). Can't find any way to create a profile for 1600Mhz.

If I set speed to 1600MHz under DRAM Frequency I get an error that overclocking failed.

What have I missed?

Solution
jambe download and run cpu-z then take a screen shot of the memory tab and use a free online image service like photobucket and host the image so you can post it here. I want to see what the part number of the ram is so that i can see if it 1600 or 1333 ram. also what cpu is in the mb some of the intel cpu have 1333 ram speed cap.

The RAM is G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 4096MB x 2 CL9-9-9-24 1.5V.
The CPU is Intel Pentium G3220 BX80646G3220 Haswell 3.0GHz LGA 1150 54W Dual-Core Desktop Processor

Just checked the Intel web page for this CPU and I see Under Memory Specification | Memory Types it says DDR3-1333. Looks like that is why I am not seeing 1600. Bummer.

Thanks for showing me why I can't run at 1600.
