My pc is stuck in failure configuring windows features reverting changes. I've tried to turn it off and on several times but it keeps getting stuck on that screen. It's windows 8. I've read many articles saying to reboot or restore settings and stuff. I don't care about my files since the pc is new and there's nothing important on it. How can I reboot it?

If you can actually get into Win8 can try running System File Check from an elevated Command Prompt, (as Administrator) run SFC /SCANNOW

did you ever solve this. I too am stuck. Totally utterly stuck. Everyone has great ideas about how to fic this, but they all involve being actually able to interact with your PC in some way such as keyboard or mouse. But I'm just purely stuck here. Have been for hours. Have rebooted several times using the physical power button on the PC. Oh wait, this is new - it's just switched itself off!
