Is the Asus VE278H a good gaming monitor

I was looking at this monitor and would like to know how good it is for gaming. If it's not too good could you recommend another one? I prefer Asus and BenQ.

I've got the Asus VE278Q model and I really like it. My only complaint was that the first one came out of the box with the LED backlighting burned out on 3/4 of the monitor but the replacement has been flawless since. If I had the money and desk space I wouldn't hesitate to add one or two more of them (well, other than the bezel isn't as thin as I'd like.
