Hello everyone, I have this problem that bugs me for a while. Whenever I want to play a game online on my laptop my network connection freezes up. This happens with every game that I have, but the weird part of it is that I can use all of the internet, say streaming video's on youtube, browse internet sites and everything. But whenever I decide to play a game my network goes dead.
I can still connect to my network with my phone and other computer.
I've tried multiple things like wireless, wired, installing new drivers for my network adapters ect, all with no succes.
Also when I restart my laptop the shutting down takes ages and always ends up with a blue screen.
I've used spybot on startup, used malewarebytes, MSE and c cleaner but all tell me my system is fine.
If anyone could help me out with this I will be thankfull to them

Maybe a windows firewall setting? If games are not given permission in windows firewall and you have strict settings, it could be blocking your games from connecting. I have no clue on the blue screen thing when shutting down. But I can't imagine they are related.

A driver is messed up. Someone else will have to chime in as to which one they suspect it to be. Should be easy enough to fix, just download the most recent driver for the part and install it.
In the mean time try going to the control panel power options and tell the system to never sleep. This may give you a way to avoid the error until you figure out which driver needs reinstalling.

Well I've updated both my wired and wireless network drivers, I'll have to check which other driver is causing the problem.
But still the strangest part is that my normal internet usage works without problems but whenever a game is launched my network connection fails.
