hdd : SEAGATE BARRACUDA 3TB
motherboard : GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-D3H RETAI
ram : G.SKILL F3-2400C11D-8GXM 8GB (2X4GB) DDR3 2400MHZ CL11 RIPJAWSX DUAL CHANNEL KIT

That's not true at all, RAM has *ZERO* to do with what frame rates you get - that's all entirely GPU dependent. And Haswell actually scales better in overclocking with faster RAM speeds: http://www.anandtech.com/show/7364/memory-scaling-on-haswell

OP - what is your budget? And before you settle on the Level 10, there's way better cases you can get.

In the real world, you still wouldn't notice much difference.

It might be your opinion, but I would never recommend someone to buy 2666 Mhz, just because Haswell scales it better.

How much of an effect would it have in gaming? Practically negligible.

If you read that article the differences lie in overclocking. Sure you may not notice a .1 difference in GHz from one game to the next, but you will definitely notice a .5 or .6 difference in GHz in gaming.

Fair enough.

Then the next question is, if that 0.5 Ghz difference is worth the extra 300 dolllars?

Logically, no.

But I guess someone who is spending so much on the rig especially for overclocking, might think otherwise.

Here is my Suggestion using the same Mobo and case you already selected:

By using the i5-4670k it's $100 cheaper so that money can go into a closed loop water cooler and you will be able to Oc if wanted. Changed the Psu, Ram, SSD and HDD choices. They are in my opinion better quality.

$300 difference in RAM speeds? Where are you getting these prices from? If anything there's only a $20 difference in price between DDR3-2133 and DDR3-2400, and that makes it worth it. Maybe Corsair Dominator Platinum but the RAM is so ridiculously expensive that there's no way I would recommend purchasing it.
