Help ASAP please

Hello, so my problem started about a day ago. I booted up my computer and as soon as it went passed the loading screen it blue screened. Every time I tried to start it up again it kept blue screening. So I sent my friend a picture of the blue screen and he said it was a registry error and that I should use the system operating disk. So I did but when I tried to clean out the computer and it blue screened again now I cant start up the operating disk. It stays stuck in the windows boot manager screen

steve with the power off check that your ram and video card are locked in. if they look locked in and you have two dimms try booting the system with one dimm to see if one of the ram stick went bad.

ok I took out all the sticks of ram should I now put all of them in and boot up the computer?

no one ram stick...see if it errors out. if it errors out swap the one stick.

sorry for the late reply I did that and nothing happened it stays on the windows boot manger screen and it says that the application iam trying to run is corrupted

try booting with one dimm and off the windows installer cd and run system restore to the last known good data. also try booting of a hirem boot cd run a virus scan and memtest from the boot disk.
