Constant Freezing in all Games

My computer has been experiencing problems for well over a year now. I will launch (Insert any game) and after any were from 30 minutes to 3 hours my game will freeze. My monitor continues to display the game in a frozen state and my Logitech G9x mouse, G110 keyboard (previously G15 keyboard) and my G35 wired headset all seemingly power off with all their LEDs immediately stopping. I can't think of any major changes around the time the problem started. I originally thought it was due to my compuer's graphic card, a clock Nvidia GTX 570HD. Thinking it was overheating in my GPU I installed an aftermarket heatsink and fans to my GPU and the problem persisted, seemingly taking longer to freeze. I now have a new GPU a clock Nvida GTX 770 W/ ACX cooling. Again, the problems continued. Playing games like Metro Last Light (settings very high/max 770GPU) and Crysis 2(High on 570GPU) freeze after around 1-2 hrs. Shadow Warrior (Almost all Max settings 770GPU) freezes in 1 hr - 20 min. My GPU temperatures are around 80 C on 570HD and are around 60-80 C on 770 while in game.

Side Note: I don't know if it is related but my computer has network issues. My computer connects via ethernet cable. It will connect to my wired network on boot however, after being on for 20 min- 2.5 hrs, my computer will have the caution emblem in the bottom right of the desktop bar icon for internet. The network will lose connection to the internet, strangely though, downloads on Steam will continue. I got to the point were I got an aftermarket network card for my motherboard which only prolongs the time until the internet goes shit. The aftermarket card has been installed for well over a year. I know this is a computer problem because my father's rig (also for gaming) works properly as well as my sister and mother's computers.

VRM=voltage regulator module

I wouldn't let it get over 90C, but I'd prefer to keep it even lower. Once you download and install HWiNFO, just go to the sensors and you will see "GPU VRM Temps" or something of that nature.

So today I ran a gold+ 800Watt PSU its a corsair silent pro and there was no noticeable change. And the Hiwinfo tool doesn't have an option to monitor VRM temperature. Do you guys know any other tool to monitor VRM temps?

Really? It doesn't?

Looks like that. If it doesn't come up, then your 570 probably doesn't have VRM temp sensors.

I tried taking off one of my case's side panels and pointing a desk fan directly at the GPU and it haven't experienced any crashes thus far but I've not had a chance to test for very long. If I were to upgrade and get a larger case would that likely solve theoretical VRM overheating. What could I do to solve VRM overheating?
