7790 1GB or 2GB?

Ok. so i was just wondering, what card would be better because if i get a 1GB 7790 it would be cheaper than a 2GB 7790 and i really don't know if its worth buying a 2GB card. Is there any pro's and con's? Im currently using a 1600 x 900 monitor. I have a i7 930 and 6GB or ram if you need to know.

For your monitor's resolution it might not matter.

More VRAM is required at full HD and above screens in demanding gameplay and for video editing 3k 4k hardware.

But I think 2gb is a bare minimum you should use for the latest games. It would be worth the trade off if you ever decide to increase your display to full HD as well.
