An image has been sent to me, not as an attachment, but at the end of the text. How can I make it a normal jpeg file, as it is too big to "grab"?

See if right click Save as Background helps... once established as a desktop background it's saved in your internet browser folder. Also in the e-mail image, right click and you have options: View image, copy image, , copy URL address to image. In view image you can right click and Save As. One more option: File menu > Save As.. and save the e-mail on your computer so you have better and faster access to the image.

Hi folks.
Like most probs, the answers easy when you know how!

Just right-click in the image when it is displayed and select "copy".

It now gos onto the clipboard and cac be viewed in a paint prog.

It is even easier to RIGHT click on the image, then select Save As, and give it the file name you want, and save it to the location you want.
That should save it in its original format.
If you copy and paste in Paint, then save the file, you are causing some deterioration to the image quality, which I'm assuming it's a jpg file.

Use the suggestions from my response in the thread to cleanup your Windows removing temp files, unwanted settings, possible malware, etc. This is what I usually do to keep my computer working at optimal efficiency.
Suggestions from other users are also worth considering, and I can't recall if disk check and defragging are mentioned but they are important and should be done occasionally.
