1. What Is Your Country Of Origin?

U.S.A.

2. What do you plan to do with this monitor? (ex. Games, Movie Watching, Photo Editing, etc.)

Gaming! (WoW, LoL, BF4, indie games off steam, Arkham Origins, etc.)

3. What resolution and screen size do you want?

I've been looking at 24-27 inch monitors. 2560 x 1440 would be AWESOME but 1920 x 1200 is probably most likely for me.

4. What refresh rate do you want? (ex. 60 hz , 70 hz.)

From what I've read for gaming, the more hz. the better! I'd like to go to 120-144 hz if the wise people here think it a good idea.

5. How much are you looking to spend?

I think the most I could reasonably spend is 500.00.**

**Would much prefer to stay around the 300.00 range.

6. Brands Preferred (ex. Samsung, Acer, Asus, AOC, HP, Viewsonic, etc. )

Don't care.

7. Brands Not Preferred (state reason why)

Don't care.

8. Are You Buying More Than One Monitor?

No.

9. How Many Displays Can Your GPU Support Maximum? And what GPU and driver version are you using if applicable?

1x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti
331.82 driver I believe

10. What Port Do You Want To Connect To (ex. DVI-D, HDMI, etc).

uh...don't really care. I currently have an HDMI cable plugged in.

11. Is This Monitor A Primary Display Or A Secondary Display?

Primary and only.

12. Is This A Secondary Display For A Laptop?

Nope.

So I'm coming to you guys because I keep trying to find a definitive answer of if I need a TN or IPS monitor. From the sounds of it going above 60 hz is awesome for gaming, but other people prefer the colors of IPS.

That being said, I feel like I'd lean towards a TN due to the speed and lower ms, but I'm not sure.
