Hello I have recently bought G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) and tried to install it into my computer and whenever I try to start it, it gives a loud continuous beep. This is my current setup:

I've found a number of sources that indicate the G43 Express chipset is limited to DDR3 1333 memory. You may be able to manually set your bios memory settings to manual at 1333 instead of 1600. A number of sites indicate that the limit may actually be lower, DDR3 1066.

You may have to leave the 4 2GB sticks in, as there is an 8GB limit in any case.

I would contact G.Skill support for direction, as they will have the most knowledge about whether those sticks will run on that board, and I have found their support very good.

Gateway DX4820 Acer Aspire M3800. It came with 4 Gateway(2G) sticks that are currently in because of the issue and when I the new sticks I took out the Gateway sticks and just used the G. skills both in the black slots (2,4)
