In a week or so all my new parts will be arriving for my new PC. I have never overclocked a CPU before and I know that you should only increase the clock speed little by little. I also know that every chip is different. However I would like to know what an average clock for it is. I have ordered a H100i as cooling and I know that I can't be expecting clocks as high as 3rd gen intel chips because of the higher number of transistors in the Haswell chips. I would like to steer away from adjusting the voltage if possible as then I will be in really unknown territory.
In summary what sort of clock would I be expecting from a 4770K on an aio water cooler? I will getting a Z87 Sabertooth as we'll if that helps

You should be able to easily get 4.4Ghz with that cooler. With the smaller h75 I am running that OC, but can run at 4.6 stable but high temps (85 - 90 under load).

I would expect you to be able to reach 4.7 with that cooler and motherboard and stay reasonably cool under load, but that does depend on the chip lottery.

Good luck with it :)

I go into bios and use the + key to change my blck from 100 to 100.5 and I get 4422 OC at 39C at idle. Multiplier at 44

If I try to do anything but 100, like 125, it crashes my machine every time.

Changing the block rate seems to have the same problem with every other 4770k. Just stick with changing the multiplier for OCing the haswells. No need to change anything else if you are at 4422 with 39C :)

Just out of interest, what is your loaded temp and cooler?
