You don't need 16GB of gaming. 8 is enough. Also, you are overspending on the case. Should grab like $80 case and with the left over money of RAM and case, grab a better GPU, like the 780. Where is your hard drive?

Ok thanks. Will make the adjustments. My hard drive is an SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk. Should I keep the SSD and add an HDD? Is that hard to set up?

As far as my budget I'd like to stay under 1400 if possible.

Your build is fine, I personally would only really change one thing, and that's to drop the SSD to a 120GB and get a 3TB HDD for mass storage. Other than that, your build is pretty well balanced, besides the ram OFC, you really don't need 16GB of ram for gaming. But as someone who uses 10GB of RAM on a good day at idle, i can understand the reasoning :D

Use a LGA 1150 board instead it will allow you to upgrade later down the road, I used everything else the same and just made the cpu/mobo and cooler changes. Only thing i would suggest changing is maybe the PSU to a better quality one but that one should work just fine and also allows for you to add another 770 later on

Yes, keep the SSD and get a cheap 1 TB hard drive. The SSD for your OS and most played games. Then keep pictures, songs, movies, etc in your hard drive.

Spend the extra couple bucks for the coolermaster 212 evo. Notice at the base of the cooler when compared to the TX3 the heatpipes come together as one as opposed to 3 separate. This design has been proven by coolermaster to be more effective. Plus it has one more copper heat pipe.

For that money your spending on the PS you should be able to get gold cert. or for just a few dollars more. I got the Corsair HX750 for 100 bucks at the time and its gold cert. Check around.

You will love that SSD! So fast!

Naw. The hard drive is user preference, and personally I think 3 TB is too much. 1 TB is enough. Also, 250GB of SSD is safe number. 120GB honestly fills up quickly. My Windows 7, and 2 games filled up my 120GB SSD to 80% already, and constantly grows when Windows update.
