I uninstalled my laptop's AMD drivers completely to clean install the new drivers. Now the display resolution changed to 800 x 600 and my graphics card isn't showing up on the device manager. I have 2 cards an AMD radeon hd 6520G APU and a radeon HD 7670m card. The 7670m isn't showing up, instead it's called standard Vga adapter. Both the 6520G and the standard Vga have a small yellow triangle next to them in the device manager. I did a system restore but it didn't help. Can anybody tell me what to do now?

Solution

did you actually install the new drivers? uninstalling your display drivers will default your resolution to 800x600. the triangles mean there is no driver installed for the hardware.

When they are asking for your platform, they are asking for which version of windows you are using.
For example Win 7 32 bit, or Win 8.1 64 bit.
If you don;t know, then you can go to the control panel - system, and it will show you which Windows version and if it is 32 or 64 bits.
