I hear it's possible to Crossfire between an APU and a graphics card if the GPUs are compatible. So, are the 8670D and the 7750 compatible with each other in Crossfire? Is it even possible to Crossfire between an APU and a discrete card? Will I get good performance with these together?

Also, do I need a bridge? I know they normally connect the edges of the cards, but where would it go on an APU?

Solution

to crossfire an APU GPU and a separate GPU you would need them to be the same type GPU chip, 8670D is not the same chip as the HD7750, so i don't think it would work. an 8670D could possibly be crossfired with a HD7670 as the 8670 is just a rebrand of the 7670
