Watercooling Block for Asus Z87 Pro Motherboard

Hello everyone, I've been trying to find the proper waterblock for this motherboard's VRM, I've looked into koolance and their MVR-40 and MVR-100 waterblocks and they seem to work.

My question is which one would fit the z87 pro? The mvr cold plates that are used with the MVR-40 are here: http://koolance.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=29_148_108

I'm not sure which one to choose.. Thanks for any help!

I will not recommend water cooling motherboards, as the performance it increases does not justify for their prices.

I'm set on watercooling the VRM as I do not think it will have good airflow considering all the rads I'll be running.

Can anyone tell me which cold plate fits the MVR-40 for the z87 pro VRM?

Their is custom water-cooling and their's that, which is well into the realm of custom stuff. The idea behind those cold plates is that you stick them to your VRM's and then stick a generic water-block to that. No idea which one fits to your motherboard, my suggestion is you pull off your VRM heatsinks, grab a ruler and measure for yourself.

I was hoping someone who has a z87 pro or someone who has used the MVR-40 could tell me. I haven't ordered any of my parts yet. If I had the motherboard I wouldn't be asking this question.

Then my suggestion is to get a motherboard that has its own dedicated VRM blocks, typically the ASUS ROG series has them available.

Anybody find blocks for the vrm/MOSFETs yet? I would think the dimensions would match one of there dog boards possibly?
