Trouble getting screen to fit with new graphics card

I just installed a new graphics card, a R9 270x, and now I can not get a fullscreen image in HD I have my screen resolution all the way up on a 23'' monitor, and there are still black borders around my screen. I have tried changing settings within the catalyst control center and have made sure it has no underscan. I have a dual monitor setup currently with one using an hdmi cable, and the other using a vga

    1920x1080
  3. There should be a scaling option or overscan I can't remember which one you need to set to get it to full screen. But check all of the settings it is there somewhere to allow edge to edge scaling.
