how would a 6670 work in this system?

My brother has this system he bought in 2011:
Core i3 2100
4GB DDR3 RAM-1333(2x2) (Capable of 8GB)
Intel DH61WW motherboard
PSU not known(Generic 450W I think -- they're the norm in noob PC's here)
Geforce 210(ASUS EN210 Silent)

Would I be able to fit a 6670 in this system? Its power consumption is roughly double that of the 210, but I'm thinking it should work.

I've not discussed this plan with him, he'll blame me if there are any problems.
Also, his case does not have a fan. I don't know if his case is capable of it either.

This is the card I'm looking at:

Also, he has a TV capable of 1600x900 max.

Whoever is doing it, please don't select best answers.
Anyway, the 6670 is close to 5.5k, but only the ASUS one is available where he lives(and I live, basically) so that bumps up the cost by 1.1k.
I don't know if a 7750 would be too costly(>=7.3k), but will have to ask.
I know the PSU could be (and probably is) crap, but it's another 2.5k to upgrade, and I don't think that he'll agree to upgrade as long as the current one has no issues.

And if he won't then he can expect his PSU to fry his GPU and render it useless.

50 50 chance I might add.

So just because it's working doesn't mean that it will have no issues to drive a 6670.

Those are the problems with buying the cheapest system you can find.
When you try to fit something even remotely decent in there, you'll have to upgrade many at once.
The Corsair VS350 is the lowest PSU I can find that is not entirely crappy.
But it still is 1.9k.

Also, what about a 6670 ddr3? the ddr3 is 4.9 and adding the PSU, we can get upto 6.8 which is a little more than the ASUS one.
