Will i have enough clearence for hyper 212 evo

Hi all, i would appreciate some help i am getting a new motherboard a M5A99FX Evo RV 2.0 and i was wondering if i could fit a hyper 212 evo on said motherboard with 2 x 8 gb sticks of Gskill ripjaws in a haf 912 thanks for any awnsers.

Ripjaws X memory is 40mm tall, and the Hyper 212 EVO has fan clearance of 37mm, which would suggest the fan will be offset by about 3mm (which wouldn't even stick out as far as the ends of the heatpipes). However, that's not taking into consideration the different reference points - the memory presumably touches the motherboard pcb when fully inserted, but the cpu cooler is offset from the motherboard by the thickness of the socket and cpu, and I've been unsuccessful in finding specifications for the height/thickness from the motherboard to the cpu's ihs.

Maximum cpu cooler height for the haf 912 is 170mm, and the 212 evo is 159mm. Depending on which variant of ripjaws you got (ripjaws, ripjaws x, or ripjaws z) you might have to let the fan stick out a little further than the heatsink, but it should still fit.
