Hi,
Yesterday I was messing around with my i5 and I achieved a stable overclock at 4.4Ghz and 1.24Volts. After an hour on prime 95 the max temps were around 69-76 depending on the core with the Corsair H60 cooler. I was wondering if this is a good overclock to have permanently. Thanks for your contributions!

That sounds like its a stable overclock considering that you wont have the cpu stressed to 100% all the time. What most people don't understand is that you should tailor your overclock to your personal needs. Sure, running unrealistic stress tests for multiple hours will tell you if you're temps get too high on worst case scenarios. But a good way to overclock and measure stability is by keeping your overclock the way it is and then just use your computer for whatever you do on. If it's gaming, then go out and play BF4 for a few hours and monitor your temps, If your temps are fine after that. Then keep using your system the way it is and be happy with it. If you run into stability issues later on, you can always adjust your overclock to...

If you run into stability issues later on, you can always adjust your overclock to be more stable. I have my 4670K clocked at 4.7GHz and under prime 95 it shoots way up in temp. but under gaming and everyday use, the temps are no where near that high and they only get to 65C under max CPU load. I hope this helps. Good luck and that's a mighty fine overclock you have there. :)
