I restored my friends laptop running windows 7 home premium with an ISO from a live USB. It installed fine, except the PC was unable to use built-in wireless or Ethernet.

The model is HP Pavilion g4-1010us.The only way I can get online is by using my Alfa USB adapter. I can't seem to find the network card model, but I installed both Ralink and Realtek drivers for this laptop directly from HP. Both the latest, and a few versions previous just in-case. None of them worked.

I'm completely stumped on this one. I was going to try using the Windows built-in feature to restore to an earlier point, when it did work, but I originally restored it more than a month ago (my friend clearly doesn't use it much). Unfortunately, I cant back up that far.

Below are some screenshots of the Device Manager, and what happens when I try to install drivers that way:

Thank you in advance!

---------Edit---------

It actually appears the network driver is fine and up to date, as you can see in the first picture. Very odd. Maybe it's those controllers under "other devices" in the second picture?
