just purhcase this ssd, can anyone tell me where to download the latest firmware and how to install it? cant seem to find it in the samsung website

You will want to download the Samsung Magician software and within it u can download the latest firmware and it has some other nice features to speed up that ssd even more! Here is a link

What exactly dont u understand about the install? If you need a tutorial there are plenty online already, try youtube.
