Basically my issue is this: I am running a GTX 770, which seemes to be underperforming, from day 1, I have been concerned its not up to scratch, but it is performing well enough, its running world of warcraft 50-200 fps depends on the suitation, sometimes it goes down to 40, in large fights, and batman and AC black flag and splintercell and rome 2 all run ultra with amazing performance. I NEVER notice anything wrong with those games.

However, my PC runs fine ALL DAY, literally, speed, heat and FPS its good. The morning after, the PC strugles for some reason and it steadly loses FPS and wont go above 1-20, this morning, instead of closing down (this happens on all games and its barely runable when it strugles for no reason), re starting etc, i turned of my PC for 20 mins or so , rebotted it up and it worked perfect, if anything, i noticed a little better performance.

my GPU temp is always fine, its infact like 30-50 most times and my CPU uses only 20% max and my Memory 25% max, when doing whatever, according to norton, my CPU does go up to like 100% usuage, but task manager says 10%, i wonder if this is norton, or *shrugs*

I was speaking with an amazing tech support person today and they suggested i return the graphics card and let them have a look at it. First, i tested my PC onto my HDMI TV and no FPS or performance change, just a bigger screen.

So what is causing this influx of lag in the mornings? it's strange, sometimes it can happen in the day, but very often. I have disabled my intel graphics to be sure it doesn't conflict and i am currently using a Beta driver for my graphics card.

For my PC screen, I am using a VGA to dvi-I cable with my PC screen, i dont know if thats an issue, but eh...I am about to send my graphics card back and let them have a look, i cant think what else it is. Any ideas guys???

am wondering if its me being odd.. and just wanting more...currently i am running World of Warcraft 40-200 FPS Ultra all settings, depending on the situation, most of the times it sits between 50-90 and unless it gets to like big battles, it wont ever go under the 50. is this normal for the PC?

Also assians creed black flag, appears to be locked onto 30 FPS. Not that i mind, running everything in High/Very High and its looking stunning.

Batman is the same, 60 FPS with it locked onto that and its running smooth and lovely, I dont seem any reason to unlock Vsync for that game, even know i am on a easy 100-250 FPS on very high.

Splintercell haven't tried yet

I am curious, are these normal FPS for the PC i have bought? honestly i was expecting a lot more xD but eh :D i can always upgrade

for sure your norton software kill your pc performance.....
i have a gtx 770 too and i never have a problem with the performance.......

important things is to install always the last driver and softwares from nvidia...thoses upgrade
reflect all the times to max in games performance on some games titles

and check if the water cooler run correctly.....
