Hi all,
I am wondering why the IOPS "read" operation is so far from the target value, as you can see in the attached screenshots:

I have a quite old P5K motherboard, where:
- only SATA2 3 Gbps is available
- AHCI cannot be configured (IDE only), at least without installing custom BIOS

I was not expecting a so high difference with respect to a SATA3/AHCI configuration, so my doubt is if there is something wrong. Please note that chipset drivers are updated and RAPID mode is enabled.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you siddhartmukul007, however from the card review I see a lot of speed issue using that card, and I do believe the PCI-E slot of my old P5K could be a bottleneck. Moreover, the card seems not supported under Windows 8.

Anyway, do you believe that poor READ performance is 100% caused by SATA2/IDE interface? It seems strange that WRITE performance are excellent..
