But I hear EVGA has problems with Gigabyte mother boards.
If you do have some sort of issue with the mobo/card compatibility, evga will get it straightened out for you. Their customer service is second to none. A quick web seach showed me no one having issues with Evga card/gigabyte motherboard combos, and frankly, there shouldnt be. The different brands of Nvidia cards use essentially the same parts, and the only real difference in them is the amount of overclock, and the cooling system used on the cards.
The board has pcie 3.0 slots, so there should be no issue at all. As long as you have a good enough PSU(quality ~600w or better) there should be no issues whatsoever with whatever brand card you choose.
