I want to get a new, more powerful PSU for my computer so I can add in a graphics card, but the 24-pin connector from the PSU to the motherboard is stuck in the motherboard, I don't dare add more force than I've already been using because I don't want to snap it. Any suggestions?

Solution
Be sure to depress the clip with one hand. Then with the other hand, grasp one end of the 24 pin connector, wiggling it as you pull upward. Switch from end-to-end working up a bit each time till it is fully unplugged.

Reason, pulling up via the wires, which are connected to the center of the connector, requires FAR more force. Pulling up on ONLY one end, requires less than half the force....
