i currently have a gtx 680 2gb and i want to start 3 monitor gaming with three 24inch 1080p monitors with like 40+fps. i was debating over if i should sell my 680 to get a 780ti. but would that be enough to play games like bf4 on max settings, with three monitors? i was also considering to get another 680 2gb to SLI but i know vram doesn't stack, but would 2gb be enough. what should i do.

I don't have an actual metric for 5760 x 1080 (3 1080 monitors) but based off of this review http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-780-ti-... I would assume that you would get in the 30-40 fps range (maybe a bit higher) on Ultra in bf4 with a 780Ti if you dropped to high presets I don't think you would have a problem pushing 40+

That seems like a hard decision... considering the 680SLI would be like a 690, which is the pinnacle of cards... however running 3 screens would be rough at those res on only 2GB. I'd say sell the 680 and get yourself a 4GB card with a punch. You'd have to get a 780 or 780ti with 4gb to be an upgrade (770 is a side grade) for nvidia. On AMD side there is the 290x. Happy holidays and good luck!
