How good is MS-7529 motherboard for overclocking?

Well, the title says it all.
I have Q6600 processor and MSI MS-7529 motherboard. I want to overclock my processor. I'm wondering how much could I overclock it (how much will my motherboard let me) (Imagine that I have the very best cooling system there is :D).

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

You need keep in mind that at the time of the release of that motherboard hit the market, many manufacturers (including MSI) was not focused on overclock. In that order, you can overclock with the motherboard but I suggest you have a good airflow over the PWM, SB and NB, set the RAM to the lowest frequency and start to rise the FSB of your CPU in little steps. How can you overclock it? It is pretty hard to say since all components (even if are the same) not overclock the same, in that way, you need to find the limit in little steps.
